Administrator in Training
Course Outline
Silver Senior Consulting offers a 120-hour Administrator-In-Training (AIT) Program designed for individuals aspiring to become certified administrators of adult care homes (ACH) or family care homes (FCH) in North Carolina. This program, approved by the state's Division of Health Service Regulations, meets all legal requirements.
The AIT Program aims to enhance participants' skills in ACH/FCH administration, preparing them to pass the North Carolina Administrator Exam. It comprises two main phases:
During the first phase, participants engage one day of virtual learning. There is also an online classroom with assignments and plenty of very informative information. Topics include rules and statutes, resident care, medication management, business aspects, human resources, and more.
The second phase involves a 100-hour preceptorship, during which participants gain practical experience under the supervision of an approved preceptor in an ACH/FCH setting. This phase covers various areas such as personnel management, resident care, medication duties, activities, and facility maintenance.
Regular evaluations during the preceptorship monitor participant progress. While Silver Senior Consulting offers reserved preceptorships, participants are responsible for securing their own.
The total cost of the program is $500. At this time we are no longer doing payment plans. All payments must be paid in full prior to the beginning of the virtual class.
